Introducing My Site
Introduction...
My name is Mike Mislan and I'm a church planting missionary in the Philippines. And welcome to my site. Since
times are changing, support is hard, and snail mail is late, I finally decided to join the ranks of the web masters. And since I don't know much about Website construction and was on a tight budget, this free Tripod site builder, was my rescue.
What's Here... As a free site,
I had a 20 Meg limit, and ater I reached around 18, I created other free sites and linked them here. As a result,
this site has turned into a hub with connections which will take you to journals, missionary obstacles, sermons,
updates, maps, my family, our ministries, our furlough, missionary articles, hundreds of links, photoe albums, missions conference
helps, the Gospel, directores to churches and missionaries, publications, Bible downloads... and more!
Using this Site... All the main
links can be found pasted on the top and bottom of every page, and if you scroll down on this page, you'll find a directory
with links that can take you almost anywhere! related to missions. But Tripod's Site Builder did not accomodate linking
to titles and subtitles within pages. This means all links will take you to the top of a page requiring that you scroll
down to view all its contents.
Site Layout...
Right now Tripod is inviting us to migrate to their new site builder which has far more features than
this one. Here, I cannot just drag or resize any item but must go through several proceedures that restrict size
and placements. But since my internet connection is slow here (San Marceleno, Zambales, Philippines), I'll have to wait
untl I return to the US before I try their migration. So please be patient if things don't look that well on my site.
Site Organization... Like all website
builders, I started small but my addiction ended up with a forever growing site. Now some pages have been moved, things
added and rearranged. So again, please be patient as I am always making improvements.
