I am so thankful that you paid my website a visit. As you probably guessed, it was mostly constructed with my supporters
in mind. That's probably why my doctrinal positions may seem hard to understand. But I wasn't always a church planting missionary
or even a Fundamental Baptist. In fact, like you, I was born into my religion and didn't have much say about it. It wasn't
until after I left home and joined the USMC, that I had more freedom to seriously consider the path I was on. . .It was then
that a sergeant invited to his Baptist church, and the preaching of God's Word got a hold of me. The pastor preached what
is called the "gospel." And by clicking on the links of this page, you can investigate for yourself what the Gospel
message really is and how Christ can change your life.
You see, I was raised moral in a strong religious family where we went to mass every week and said our prayers together.
But I was missing something, or better yet some One! But when I encountered Christ and repented of my sins, He forgave me
and gave me real purpose and I have dedicated the rest of my life to serving Him as my Lord. That's why I made this page.
So that you too, like me, can know Him too!

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though
they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isa.1:18)
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. (Mat
11:28-30)

I was a religious person who lived a moral life. My parents did their best to guide me in the faith. I went to mass every
Sunday, was an alter boy, sang Latin in our parish choir, was not opposed to the priesthood, but sadly, did not know Christ.
But after my graduation from High School, I joined the USMC and a sergeant invited me to his Baptist church. There, I
heard the gospel preached right from God's Word and the message did something to my heart. He preached that all of us were
sinners and that only Christ could take away our sins. He showed me from God's Word that doing good things could not erase
or cover my sins. The pastor then gave what was called an "invitation" and I can forward to the front of the church.
A man named Dave Swindle, a Naval Intelligence Officer met me up front and opened his Bible while the other members were
still singing an invitation hymn, "Just as I am." He showed me John 3:16, and it all made sense to me. He explained
how I could not get to heaven myself and that this was the reason why Christ had to come and die on the cross as the needed
sacrifice for my sins. It was then I repented of my sin and gave my life to Christ Who became my Savior and my Lord. Now
I joyfully live for Him and serve Him where He leads. Please click on these links on the right and make sure you know Christ
the same way I do. Your eternity depends on it. - Mike Mislan

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. (Jn.3:16)
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified
by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him (Rom.5:8-9)
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,
thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed (Rom.10:8-11)
